Hello World,
it's me...
In this day and age, you have to be fully committed and bring a lot to the table:
An independent personality, a sense of humor, and, most importantly, a big heart.

But you know what's even more important?
A spirit of adventure, a thirst for discovery, and a smile on your face!

My name is Tanja Schneider, and I never know a day when I don't wish I could go to Japan.
From August 2015 to June 2016, I traveled to the land of the rising sun on my own. Here and there, wonderful people accompanied me on my way with whom I could share my memories and experiences.

Back in Germany, I studied Japanese and media studies for a Bachelor's degree and finished my master's degree in project management here in Japan.
My paths, decisions, and the people I meet always connect me with Japan, with its culture, language, and people.
I did my internship in Japan in the field of sustainable tourism in an onsen/ryokan at the beginning of 2021. Before that, I attended the Kudan Institute of Japanese Language and Culture to further improve my language skills. On this blog, I would like to take you with me on my journey and let you benefit from my knowledge and experiences.
